Title: Stopping program while running

I have had to Stop my program while running and when I press cycle start it seems to lose its place.Should I raise up the cutter before pressing cycle start?

Different versions of Mach3 may behave slightly differently but...

To pause a running Gcode use Feed-Hold (spacebar) and when all motion has stopped then press Stop.
To re-commence Gcode execution press Cycle Start.
