Hi to all, I'm new to all 3 of these programs and I don't have much hair left to pull out so I hope someone can help me figure out the process to download a drawing from E machine to D2nc and then to mach3.
Thanks a heap for any help, Jerry

The file should be a version 12 dxf which is brought into D2nc.
In d2nc you will define what you want to machine and how.
D2nc will provide the gcode for use by Mach.
The above are generic steps , and since I don't use D2nc can't elaborate on how to use it.
Start reading the manuals for Mach and D2nc.
Welcome to the cnc learning curve.....have fun,

Rich, I've done quite a bit of cnc machining that I programmed right at the machine (mostly Fadal ) with G codes
but I've never had any dealing with cad programs until now. Guess it's time to step into the 21st century, thanks a heap, Jerry
