Hi, I'm new to Mach3 and this community.. Recently I imported a CAD dxf file to CamBam, altered it's size appropriately, and generated tool paths; after I was satisfied, I generated the GCODE and loaded it onto a memory stick and then to my CNC router's computer.. After opening the file on Mach3, the toolpath became distorted/not all of the toolpath was showing and no error messages were displayed. I ran the software and the result was wrong; how can I ensure that the toolpaths and GCODE are loaded properly when using CamBam to transfer GCODE? (using .nc files) Thanks

Most likely, what your seeing is an incorrect IJ mode in Mach3, and possibly a g-code limit for an unlicensed version.
You can change the IJ mode to Incremental in General Config.
You can also have CamBam add a G91.1 to your g-code, which will force Mach3 into Incremental IJ mode (which is what CamBam is most likely using).

I am currently using the trial version of Mach3; would I be required to purchse the full version? The GCODE I uploaded was very detailed; so this most likely could be the issue if my GCODE exceeded any limitations on the trial version of Mach3

Without a license, Mach3 will display and run only 500 lines of the g-code.

Ok, that's most definitely the issue then. Thankyou very much

Ice,
Be sure to join the CamBam forum. Lots of really helpful people there, just like here.
