I have decided its time to pass the batten on to another. ( Not known who yet.)
Its been a fun 18 + months getting this forum established and seeing all the contributions from you lot.
I appreciate all those who have supported this effort into creating a fantastic community.
We have had phenomenal growth to well over 3000 members in a short period of time.
I will still be a member, but mightn't be here as often as I have been in the past.
It is my hope that this community will continue to grow and prosper with ideas, help, and contributions.
Thanks so much to you all.
Regards,
Benny
PS I will be still running things for the next 4 weeks until I am happy that the new admin is settled in.

Benny,
You will be greatly missed :'(. You have helped me in more ways than one. I hope that the path you choose will be well lit, smooth, and lead to the destination that is meant for you. I won't say good bye as I expect to see you from time to time but I will say THANK YOU.
THANK YOU BENNY........

I cant express how sad I am to see this. Benny has created and built this forum from its inception.
He's been an invaluable asset to us all, and he will be sorely missed. Very sorely.
I know from long experience how hard it is to do what he's done, and the amount
of toil it takes on ones life. ITs a very hard road to walk for a long time period.
He has done it willingly, happily and with a great sense of ethics. Benny, it goes
without saying how gratefull I am to you, and that if you ever need anything at all, I , and
everyone else is here for you. I owe you a great personal debt, I hope someday to repay it.
I suspect none of us have heard the last of you.. here or elsewhere..

Benny,
I can only imagine the work you had to put into this and I am sure there are many many people who are glad that you did. I know there was quite an opposition to the forum starting but you persevered and built up a very valuable community. Sad to see you go but life moves on and I know you must have good reasons.
Hope to see you around.

You started it all. Nothing else needs to be said about that, the numbers speak for themselves.
I am sorry to see you go! As I am sure, the same goes for LOTS of other people around here.
I sincerely hope everything is ok with you and yours, and this is just a case of forum burnout. I have been there and done that.
Thank you very much, We will miss you.
Sincerely,
Chad

Thanks guys for all the great comments. Its not like I wont be around, I just wont be around as much.
It has always been my intention for this forum is to be run by many and not just me.
You will now see we have a few new admin staff. They are Hood, Graham, Chad, Brett, Brian and Art.
It may seem like a lot of admin, but this makes the system a bit more democratic, and takes the pressure off one person.
I expect they might not need to use their admin abilities much, but its there for them if they need it. It also helps in creating an round the clock admin.
Most of these guys are on the forum daily, have made many hundreds of posts and seem to have some idea of what they are talking about.
I am hoping they will log any admin actions they make, in the hidden moderator section with reasons for the changes they make, in an attempt to work as a team.
Again, thanks to everyone who has built such a great place here. It is my hope that we increase in size by double this time next year, and that there continues to be some interesting reading from all you lot. My two pet forum sections, "Show'n'tell your machines", and "show what you have made", will continue to be my regular reading. Dont let me down guys, I would prefer a picture of a bolt with a description than no post at all. :)
