Title: Digitize led keeps flashing
Post by: stevep43 on May 05, 2015, 07:49:15 AM
Hello all:

I am trying to setup the tool centering and the zero plate scripts.  I am using Mach3 under windows 7 32 bit.  I have the probe on pin 13(i also tried 15) with active low.
The digitize led is for the most part off, however it randomly flashes.  I have change the debounce setting to the point where the led is mostly off, however when i run the center routine, i have the debounce settings so high that the script over shoots the contact point. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Steve.

Had exactly the same issue. Ran grounded shielded cable to my switches / probe inputs and it fixed it. Think of the wires going to your switches as antenna. They will pick up all sorts of signals from nearby cables (steppers/spindles etc)
The way you are having to increase the debounce setting is proof of this (to me anyway)

I am looking for a good script for x and y centering.  Can you post your script?
