Title: Looking for someone who can generate code for Mach3 turn from solidworks drawing
Post by: RFord on April 17, 2007, 02:41:06 PM
Hi All,

I have a small hobby shop where I do wood parts for a couple of manufacturers.  I am using mach3 turn with a chinese lathe that was converted to CNC by Industrial Hobbies.
I need help with generating code for my parts.   I have solidworks and can create drawings but I don't have a way to generate code.  Can someone help me generate code for my lathe???
You can check out my shop here  www.woodworks.us.com

Can you export your drawings as DWG or DFX?

If you can, and it works out I have a SLDPRT file that I need exported like that.

Can you save your file as a .SLDDRW file first.  It has to be in the Solidworks Drawing format before I can save it as a .DXF or .DWG file.  I can try to convert it if you want to send it to me..

RF

I got your PM.  Your'e email is hidden in your profile.  PM me your email and I'll send the file I have.
I don't have solidworks so I can't change it from SLDPRT to SLDDRW.
I would attach it here, but these formats aren't allowed.................YET (hint hint)
