Title: Polar G16 in MDI
Post by: smkymtncruiser on February 11, 2015, 08:35:41 PM
First off let me say hello as this is my first post. Normally I can resolve my issues by reading the forums, but I'm at a lose with this one.

In MDI I enter... (One line at a time)

G90
G1 X0 Y0 F5
G16
G1 X2 Y180
G15

This moves x axis negative for a radius of 2

G91
G1 X0 Y0 F5
G16
G1 X2 Y180
G15

This moves x axis positive for a radius of 4. The radius is double of the expected move. Likewise if you enter X-2 the axis moves in the opposite direction.
Does this make sense too anyone that could explain the difference?  And yes I ran the cutter thru the vise. Ha-ha.

I get the same results here in V.067 what version are you running. I KNOW this used to work fine in past versions. You may have to back up until you find a version that it works in.
