Here's some pictures of the control panel for my Bridgeport (Sorry about the poor quality of the pictures they were taken with my mobile phone). It's still a work in progress. The keypad is connected to a Audon KBE-98 keyboard encoder for the standard keys and an Ipac4 for the additional 33 keys( I will make a better overlay when I decide on what buttons are required). Feedrate/slowjog, Jog mode, Cycle start, Cycle Stop, and Feedhold are connected to a ModIO board. I intend to add a seperate pendant for a mpg and axis selection switch. The Screen set still requires a bit of work and a few other minor issues need sorting out but I'm getting their!

Looking good PJ,
I would like to see more pictures of it, I will soon be putting my new cabinet together (I hope). Yes Hood, I said it. ;)

From first impressions thats one of the best screensets I have seen yet. Simple looking just as a CNC control should be!

If you would like to post the screen set we can add it to the downloads page :)
It is VERY sweet!

What screen designer did you use? How did you add the "Page Tabs"?
very nice indeed,

Actually looks kind of like a later Heidenhain TNC control.
Make it black background and amber text and boxes and you'd be hard pressed to tell them apart at a distance.
Was that what it was modelled on?

Like it a lot!!!

Brett, here's some more pictures showing the main cabinet, inside the control panel and under the overlay (so you can see there are keyswitches and I haven't just stuck some printed paper on :)). Scott, the screen has been created using the original screen designer and MS Paint for the bitmap's (The page tabs are just part of the bitmap back ground). Wayne, I was going to copy a Heidenhain TNC but that was beyond my skill level so have used them for inspiration! Brian, the screen set still requires alot of work before it's finished. I'm having a bit trouble getting the Userlabels to work using the following:
If GetLED( 1 ) = 1 Then
SetUserLabel( 1, "inch" )
End If
I'm obviously doing something wrong but can't seem to figure it out! I know the macropump is running because feedrate override etc all work. Any suggestion would be gratefully accepted ???
