Some prefer Screen 4, others prefer MachScreen.
There's a Screen 4 tutorial video here, at the bottom of the page.

				Hi Dear Gerry

Thank you very much for you good help.

Can i write create a program and write Gcode for programing on the mach3? My mean is writing by keyboard not by CAD/CAM and load on mach3 , i know LazyCAM too but i don't want use it.
I ask this question because i want use this software(mach3) for teaching Gcode to the students, if it is possible , please let me to know how can i do that?

 Thank you

No, not in Mach3. You can write g-code with any text editor, and use Mach3 to simulate the g-code.

				Dear Gerry

Does it possible to solve it(writing a new Gcode program on Mach3 directly) by using macro ?
-
Mach3 has no editor for writing g-code. Once g-code isloaded into Mach3, Mach3 can open it in an external editor.

				Hi,
I use Screen2010, and sometimes I write short G-code on it.
But, the written G-code has to be saved once with a file name, then you have to open it.

So that, if you make a file beforehand with some wards, you load it and call editor from the screen.
Screen2010 has an icon to call the text editor.
I do not know if 1024set can call the text editor from the screen.

By this way, you can see immediately what will happen when you add or alter G-code.

I hope I do not guess wrong ...

Yes, the 1024.set has an Edit G-code button, but you first need to create the g-code from outside of Mach3.
