Title: spindle aktivate an reverse
Post by: druckgott on June 08, 2014, 03:43:10 PM
Hallo, I have a question.

I have my Spindle connected to mach3, now my question is, I have on pin for aktivate and one pin for reverse and one pin for pwm.

If I want to have that the spindle should run I always need the pwm and the aktivate pin. This works perfekt,

But If I want to reverse the spindle I need pwm, aktivate and reverse pin aktiv, how can I do this, I only get it working that aktivate or reverse pin is aktiv,
but I  need both pins aktive?

thx

Hi Druckgott,

Try this. Use the spindle direction pin under motor outputs config  to control the reverse line. Then in the Spindle Tab config set the M3 and M4 output relays to control the same output pin, say output 1.

With this setup, output 1 is the "enable pin" for the spindle. And the spindle direction pin in the motor outputs will control the reversing of the spindle.

Cheers,

Peter
