Title: Mach3 Lathe Spindle Stepper . Actual RPM & Set RPM (Snnnn)

 Hello All,
 My setup is MACH3 with Smoothstepper. I have attached a stepper motor to my Lathe with a 2:1 gear ratio.
The Motor has  1.8 degree turn / step and I am running with 1/16 micro stepping.
Motor Tuning --> I setup 6400 per rev. I see a 10X difference between the Spindle speed I set with the S command
and the actual RPM ( read it with a spindle encoder ).
I cannot seem to figure what is causing the 10X factor. Any ideas would be very helpful.

Make sure you have the correct speed set for Spindle Pulleys, ie your Max rpm should be the same as the Velocity you have in Motor Tuning for the spindle.
