Title: my diy fixed gantry

This was my second attempt at a cnc router/mill, needing something to mill aluminium and plastics my first build wasnt up to it ,,a few upgrades coming,but im chuft with it.

I like the design, great job !
(I'd get that keyboard up under the monitor though)
Something tells me you have a plan, just not done yet.

thanks lads and yep gone through 3 keyboards in as many months,the x axis is all coming off and a large 30mm tooling plates going down as a bed which will be slotted to cater for longer rails and ball  screw..this will make alignment easier, and will make provisions  for coolant set up and containment,
im also thinking of starting again with the y axis.
