Title: Something is making my z want to travel like 12"

I don't know if it's something in my sheetcam program
 Or in mach.  The machine is brand new and I am still in the initial setup stage.
  It seems like no matter what my .dxf test program is always over the soft-limit somewhere,
My z which travel is for sure less then 6" always wants to run to like 12"...there must be a setting somewhere I'm missing.
