I am trying to find a program that takes dxf files and gives me G code. Like visualmill but it is toooo expensive. I already have the 3d cad program just need to do G code for both3d and v groove engraving. suggestions please some seem to do 3d an not engraving or engraving but not 3d, good quality is nice but at reasonable price.

thanks for these suggestions but I need an output file that is ready to load into Mach3, c/w post processor.

CamBam is a great program for the money.

Do CamBam and SheetCam both do 3D now?

Cambam does but is limited. IE; tooling choice is just one of them.

ShopCam is a relatively inexpensive program. I use it everyday at work. Its not Mastercam by any means but it does accept DXF files & Iges Files. I do beleive there is a post in it for mach 3 also. Dont hold me to that but im pretty sure..
