I'm using Version R3.042.040 and Mach Turn and seem to have a problem posting the code from the OD Grooving Wizard after entering all the relevant values. I am new to grooving on the lathe and am not sure if I have the right values
G90
Groove depth=0.0689
Groove width=0.1181
X Start = 0.5906
Z Start = -0.4330
Tool width = 0.05
Pecking feedrate = 0.0120 (?) Pecking depth = 0.03 (?)
Finish feedrate = 0.0002 Finish cut = 0.0001
Stepover % = 0.0% (?)
When I try to post it does not generate the code.
Any ideas?

You will need to enter a step over value, it is a % of your tool width so maybe 90 to 100% would suit.

Ah! It works! I put in 90% and the code posted. I guess step over is the equivalent of the overlap in tool motion (in Smid) as the tool moves from one edge to the other?
Many thanks, Sir!

Yes, just the amount the tool moves over on each plunge, probably 100% would be fine for a grooving operation but 90 should also work fine.
