If yous guys are into gears, coggs,sprockets, pulleys, gear mechanism, etc then you HAVE to take a look at ART's newest creation.

You need to download the demo and PLAY with the gizmos.

BUT I WILL WARN YOU IT IS LIKE CRACK, once you have started using this there is no turning back. You will soon be a gearhead like it or not.

Then just go to the website (;-) the link workks from here.

 It is a gearing generator program that Art created for doing all kinds of geartrains.  EVEN abstract gear designs just for show.

It can create the dxfs OR the Gcode to create the gears after you design them. Great for things like Clocks or reductions gearsets and Sprockets and chain OR belt drive pulleys.

AND it keeps getting better and bigger all the time (;-)

No one can argue the fact that Art has a beautiful mind.  He sure is letting his artistic side shine with gearotic.

It certainly is a neat program. Now if i can only make the time to really fool with it......

Whilst it is a serious piece of software it still has a fun aspect - I just love it - thanks Art for such a great program.

That is part of the beauty of it it covers from the serious gearhead all the way to artful wall hangers and gizmos to gadgets.
