Post by: belin on October 13, 2012, 06:53:28 AM
Being that im a long time user of GRAVOGRAPH or the americans maybe know iot as NEW HERMES engraving machines....im used to using on aluminuim and other metal material a DIAMOND DRAG TOOL which is not a actual CUTTER that requires motion to cut

so my simple question is

where can i buy these DIAMOND DRAG TOLL BITS to suit the chinese CNC 3040 machine....

thanks again in advance

What is the maximum diameter tool you can hold in the spindle?

That doesn't really help me as I'm not familiar with that machine.

Unfortunately that is a very small diameter either way, and the smallest I know of is a spring loaded diamond drag tool with a 1/4" diameter shank.

yes its the same machine....but im at home right now and i only brought it a couple of weeks ago....so im far from up to speed on all its specs....sorry about that...

i do know that the cutters/knives/blades that came with it are about 1/8th in diameter and they easily slid into the spindle chuck
