Hi all,
I introduce myself, my name is Nicolas I'm French so desolate in advance for my English, I use google translation to write to you.
I have a CNC machine Coquery (http://cnc25.free.fr/machines/mecagcoqueryv2.htm) with a map CNC611 (http://ideegeniali.altervista.org/progetti/?p=kitcnc&l=en).
so I download mach 3 to test the software I intend to buy later in French if everything works well.
For the moment I download the latest version of mach 3, I install and I restart the computer.
Now I want to configure the software on my machine but I do not know where to begin.
If any of you can help me in setting the software.
I already look at several French tutorial on setting mach 3 but it is never the same so I'm lost.
Thank you in advance for your help

Hi Niroleta,
It may be best to email Paolo (paolo@ideegeniali.it) to obtain a copy of the CNC611 Manual, if you do not already have it, as that appears to detail the Mach3 settings you need.
Tweakie.

Hi tweakie
if I have the card's manual you can help me configure the software?
Edit 13H13 :
I just sent an email to Paolo for the manual in French
-
Hi Niroleta,
I would need to see a copy of the manual to determine the correct pins for the configuration. If you could email me the Italian copy I will try to translate it.

hello tweakie,
I received the mail paolo
here is the link to download the manuals in English, Italian, French
http://ideegeniali.altervista.org/clienti/cnc611.html
I hope you can help me
thank you in advance

Download a copy of the CNC611.xml (from your previous link) then copy that .xml into your Mach3 folder. That will take care of the configuration settings
You then need to create a new desktop shortcut to Mach3 (or modify your existing one) so that the Target is something like C:\Mach3\Mach3.exe/pCNC611
This new shortcut should then be used to launch Mach3.
Tweakie.

Tweakie Ok I'll try this afternoon.
the machine will adjust?
is what I should configure other parameters after launch mach 3 with my new configuration?
-
Hi Niroleta,
The Velocity and Acceleration in Config / Motor Tuning may need adjusting for optimum performance, but it may be OK as it is.
You need to check your E-Stop and Limit Switches are connected to the correct pins and function correctly.
Other that that you should be on your way to making great things. ;)
Good fortune with your new machine.

It is ok for the machine configuration manual work.
I would now like to address the "steps per" how to calculate this value?

the problem is that I have a 10 tooth pulley at the output of the electric motor
which transmits the force to a belt pulley 34 teeth.
how to calculate?

how to calculate?
Hi Niroleta,
That’s the next thing to do when you have the machine moving under Mach3 control.
Rather than repeat the instructions here…
If you refer to Section 5.5 of the Mach3 Manual http://www.machsupport.com/documentation.php (I assume the French Manual has the same Section numbers) this details how steps are calculated manually. Then Section 5.5.2.3 details the automated process which is probably best for your machine with it’s reduction pulleys and drive belts etc. This process is then repeated for each axis in turn.
Hope this helps.

hello tweakie,
I got your message about the manual
Section 5.5.3.2 is the chapter on automatic settings in French.
Tomorrow afternoon I'll try to system setting.
In any case tweakie I want to thank you for the help you give me, and still grieve for my English.
I'll probably still need help then I hope you will always be there to help me.

Hi Niroleta,
I am pleased that you are making good progress with setting up your new machine.
( Your English is excellent and 100% better than my French ;D ;D )

Tweakie Hello how are you?
I still need your help :)
This afternoon I tried cutting a rectangle with a circle in the middle.
The machining is very smoothly as you can see from the photos.

(http://www.zimagez.com/miniature/img095326.jpg) (http://www.zimagez.com/zimage/img095326.php)
Now I ask you a few questions.
1 - why in MDI mode, when I type G01 Y-60 F1000 milling shifts the Y-60.0547 and G01 X-600 F1000 milling shifts the X-600.0199?
Here are some photos.

(http://www.zimagez.com/miniature/img093532.jpg) (http://www.zimagez.com/zimage/img093532.php)
and I encounter the same problem with the machining of the part above.
in the program there are G01 X-120 F700 and the machine shifts to X-121.12.
that the dimensions of the part is not good agreement, but normally when I type in MDI G01 Y-60 F1000 machine must stop at Y-60 why it does not?
2 - How to reduce speed rapid traverse G00?
PS: For my settings automatic I use calipers square is what it is or should I use a dial indicator tip?
thank you in advance for your help

Hi Niroleta,
Mach3 will only make movements which are a multiple of your ‘steps per unit’ (as set in motor tuning).
Could you give some details of your motor tuning setup please ?

Hi Niroleta,
Sorry, my fault for not being specific.
If you could attach your Mach3Mill.xml file (located in Mach3 folder - it needs to be renamed to something unique before posting) - or details of your X an Y axis motor tuning from the Mach3 motor tuning page it would be helpful.
Tweakie.
-
I do not use machmill I use cnc611 in mach loader is the two files I paste in mach3
I send you machmill.xml or cnc611.xml or both?
I can send them to you via email?
-
Once again apologies - it is the 'CNC611.xml' and yes you can email it.
Tweakie.
-
I'll send you the file.
you can tell me is that you change in the file plz
-
Hi Niroleta,
I have sent you a PM with my suggestions.
