I have succesfully cut threads with Mach3 using the G76 code.
Is there a way for the G76 code to do inside threads?
I have the "Threading on the Lathe" write up printed out. There are several pages that discuss quick threading. Where to I find this wizard? I have not found it in Mach3.
Is there a video somewhere on threading with Mach3?

Jim,
Quick Thread screens can be found in MACH SCREENS>FINISHED SCRENS, just go down the topics and you'll find it listed .

For a video you may want to try a search on You Tube.

Yes G76 can do internal or external.
The standard wizard in Mach is called Simple Threading.
You can do internal threads with it no problem, just have to have a start X of less than the end X.

Jim,
Just a comment on the Quick Threads Wizards, if you use the thread calculator to find the depth of a sharp vee, be aware, that the depth is WRONG
in that calculator. Sharp V depth is equal to 0.86603 x Pitch.
Frankly I like the standard wizard ....but to each their owne.......Pappabear did a nice job on quick threads.........

Mr. Hoods suggestion is really all I was looking for. I thought "quick threads" was something I should know.
Thanks,
