Title: ART CODE 9991
Post by: WA8HTO on April 22, 2012, 09:38:51 PM
Every time I attempt to load a G-Code file created by pcb-gcode with auto level.
Mach 3 crashes it first shows ART CODE 3336 and then ART CODE 9991.
There is not even the slightest hint as to why it is happening, just poof GONE. ???
What doesn't Mach3 like that causes this?

I think I found it.
The probe grid size was set to .25 inches in pcb-gcode but the actual grid in the g-code was .007 inches.
The 130,000 plus probing points just got it totally out of whack.
I changed the probe grid setting to 8 inches and now the grid size is .25 inches, and it doesn't crash :D
I may even try to etch a board tomorrow evening.

Thanks All
Jerry

Hi,
I hope I am in the right place. This my first attempt, both on the forum,  and probing.

I am having problems with Probing.  I cant get  the  code to be accepted into Machcloud.  (I am using txt extention, But I have no Idea really)
Keeps giving error messages.  I have read anything  I have been able to find, but  no joy.
If someone could head me in the right direction, that would be GR8.
I don't even know  how to get any replies if I get one.
I will learn soon I am sure.  my Email is      Rod@rjbiz.com

Thanks
