Title: Newbie needs help please

Hi All
This is my first post here so please be gentle. I am just starting out in CNC and have built a gantry type router. I have downloaded Mach3 and lazy cam.
I have  the router working with Mach3 using their sample Gcode files. But I have a problem with lazy cam. I create a Drawing in Turbocad (V14) and save it as a DWF. but when I try to open it in lazy cam I get
 
loading complete
applying option filters
Duplicate entry removal
No entities found
File loaded

and no picture of my dwf

Can anyone help please

Bob,
Save the file as a versiobn 12 dxf. You can fnd a maual for LC in Members Docs.

Thanks for the reply but I cannot save as version 12 except for TCW type file which lazy cam cannot open.

You need a vector file, dxf versions greater than 12 have worked here. Maybe search for a free converter or a program that will import yous and convert it for you.

Hi Rich thats what I did I found Pycam Works fine
