Title: LazyTurn DXF's
Post by: cnc-Joe-2 on September 23, 2011, 04:02:44 PM
I haven't fired up my CNC retrofitted Sherline Lathe  (controller and steppers from Xylotex... yah I know, I was young and had a lot to learn)  in a while - so this weekeend is it.

Almost all the G-code that I've run through this lathe has been hand generated - or generated by an earlier version of BobCAD - turn module.

I want to give Lazy Turn a whirl.

>>>> Does Anyone have any DXF files to share (like chess sets, etc.) ?

I'm sure I'll have some questions to post here after this weekend.

Joe,
Have a look at Appendix "D" in the LT manual as it lists about 75 files that you can play with. Just go to the reply number
in the thread on LT. Should keep ya out of trouble for a bit. ;)

Thanks Rich!   And AWESOME nice job on the manual, too!
I sure hope that they're paying you for all that good work.
But I also know that when you do that sort of thing - you learn a lot.

Thanks again!

I recieve a big payment each and every time a Mach user is able to use one of the manuals to make their hobby
enjoyable and reduce the learning curve associated with it. The effort provides me with a good feeling of having contributed
to a great community of folks in here. In the end I become rich in something other than a name.

Such is the spirit of all those that provide countless hours of their time for others.
