Title: Change speed and zero fifth axis
Post by: ericma on December 13, 2006, 05:29:21 PM

Friends:

I can not change the move speed by the F code and do not know how to zero the fifth axis.

A 5-axis CNC router is driven by Yaskawa servo motors and all axes are worked fine except the speed are too slow.

Thank you for any advice.

You will need to aet up a 5axs screen set... check out the screen design section of the forum.

and the speed is a mix of Deg per min and In per min... If you look on the net there are a few places that talk about how to do that :( It is not a simple thing to do and most Cam systems should put out code to take care of that.

Thanks
Brian
