Has anyone ever used a touchscreen monitor with mach?

I have them on all my machines and have done so for at least 6yrs :)

and i have.
Be careful when buying as some will only work with vista and 7.
You need the screens with drivers that specifically say they can be used on xp.

So, what's the answer? Can Mach3 be used on a touch screen without using a mouse?
-
Yes. It is a touchscreen why would you need a mouse? I run an ELO touchscreen myself and love it.

I just bought a new, boxed 16" Advantech screen of evilbay. Touch screen on Mach 3? essential! works a treat.
-
Do you still need a keyboard? What screen size and resolution is practical please?
thx a lot.

I still use a keyboard as I find onscreen keyboards fiddly, also I still have a trackball which I use for menu items especially. Pics below of two of my control panels, as you can see I also like real buttons/switches for the most used functions.

Folks using touchscreens - are you using Mach3 with Windows 7, Vista, or XP?
Also, I purchased an Acer T230H touchscreen, has anyone used this successfully with Mach3? With which operating system?

I use XP on all my machines, I just prefer it to any of the newer OS's.
Regarding your touch screen, I have just looked and it comes with drivers for XP, Vista and W7 so you could use whichever OS you prefer.
