Hi, I can no longer find where the info was for the following; (I was successful before!)
1) I create a .DXF file from my CAD software, let's call the data file "sample.dxf". Works fine.
2) I open Lazycam and read in sample.dxf, works fine.
3) In Lazycam, I save out sample.lcam for safety and then press "Post Code" button at upper right.
.... What file is posted and where is it? I can't find anything anywhere!
4) I open Mach3 but I can't find any data files to open which seem relavent to my project nor "sample" dot anything new.
5) I've looked everywhere for about 3 days and am at the end of my rope.
Can anyone tell me how to take my sample.dxf to Mach3 to mill a gizmo (probably using Lazycam) ? Please!
If you can/will help, thank you so very much!!!

When LC opens go to SETUP>GCode File Options and browse to the location where you want the files to go.
You can also do a Windows search of the file name and see where it is located.
Also you can Click Start>My Recent Documents, select the file and right click looking at the properties and see where it is.
Sometimes you need to have Windows reread the directory / hardrive for the file to show up in the listing.

Thanks RICH. I'm going out to the shop to try it now.
I really appreciate it.
