Title: Scaling a single MPG for each axis?

I just implemented a single MPG to switch to each axis.
Each of my machines axis's have a different count to move an inch.

e.g. When I set up the mpg to move the X axis .100 per MPG turn it will
be different for the y axis.  Since my z axis has a very high count per inch
it is way different.

Can the single MPG be scaled per axis?  I would like to have the axis
travel the same amount per mpg turn no matter which axis I select.

Dont think you can :( Only way I can see to do it would be an MPG for each axis.

You need to have the MPG set up in Multi step mode

Brian and Hood,

Thank you both for your input. I have gotten multiple answers and they all vary.
Art( says no in velocity mode).
I did try the mult step mode and it did work somewhat.
The amounts traveled were the same per axis. The only complaint is the
way it moves is in a "chugging" fashion. The velocity mode is smooth.
So I guess for now I have to pick from the two methods.
The smoothness of the velocity mode is nice so perhaps I'll add a couple more
MPG's and go that way.

It is VERY hard to get machines to move the way that you would like because most of the machines that we run are very under powered :( if you crank an MPG on a large machine tool you can fault an axis... on the machines that we deal with that is missed steps.
