Title: Vcarve Pro 6 and Mach3 job coordinates?
Post by: antonzedd on January 31, 2011, 10:28:28 AM
This might be an easy question sorry.

Hi, I've got a custom built 24"x36" gantry router machine. I'm using Vcarve Pro 6 and Mach3, when I import a gcode into Mach 3 the worktable seems to be out of place according to the job.

How do you set the job in Mach3 to where ever your piece is set???  I've tried zeroing the coordinates to a certain location but it keeps going to some other spot to start the job??

Thanks in advance:)

Vcarve will have the datum located at bottom left or where ever you selected, datum Mach3 at the same place on your stock, when you run the g-code it will start at some point on the job but not necessarily at the datum point.
