Title: How to start cycle? New to screen design
Post by: system32 on May 26, 2010, 02:30:41 PM
I am new to designing screens with Mach3 and I have made an example for me to work with, but why when I select start cycle it does not go through the G-Code and on the toolpath screen does not show a simulation of whats going on. I set the button to Cycle Start/Run function but its not working. What am I doing wrong? Here is my example file.

Thank You :)

You have that button set to OEM 1016

Select "System Function" / RUN

OEM 1016 is the "Run From Here" function.

Thank you :).

I was using the software MachScreen V1.42 and not Screen4. I selected Cycle Start in MachScreen but was not working, but working with Screen4 when set to Run. Thanks again :)

OK, then in MachScreen you would select OEM 1000.

Do you have a reset button? You'll have to push reset before you can run code.
