Title: MACH3 - Limit N####
Post by: bzepeda on April 05, 2010, 01:26:09 AM
Two questions.
1. How do I change the way the exported g-code is numbered? For example if I want to change the current way ( N1-9999 )... to (N1-*********XX), five digits instead of four.
2. When I upload the code onto mach3 it only sees the first N1-4790 lines of code. MOST of my codes require more than 10,000 lines of code. Therfore I need to be able to upload atleast that much.

Thanks!

The lines are added by your CAM when it writes the code so you need to change it in the CAM if that is possible.

Sounds like you have the Demo of Mach, if you dont have a licence you are limited to 500 lines of code. If you do have a licence then i would seem Mach is not seeing it, so check by looking at the Help menu then About Mach3   If you see Demo then you need to place your licence in the Mach3 folder and restart Mach.

Look for a file called Mach1Lic.dat, that is the licence file.
