I have hooked up my limit switches. I am having a bit of trouble with the auto zero, All axis home correctly get the flashing yellow saying it's nto normal but anyway the auto zero is not working on the C & y axis???????
-
Are you looking at machine coords? Do you have AutoZero chosen in Homing and Limits? Do you have a Home Off value set, if you do your machine Coords DRO will show that.

I have not set Home off, yes the auto zero is checked for all three axis. I keep getting amessage Axis are not refed to normal condition? I am lost on that one
-
When I flip between Mach Coord and job I see the job in the middle of the table not at zero but I am at sero?
-
If you are talking about the Abnormal Condition just double click it and select OK, it is a real PITA as far as I am concerned as it warns you that you are not in your normal running condition but if you change something intentionally it will throw a warning and it gets people worried if they dont realise that is why.

The mach coords should be zero when you are at your home switches, your offset zero can be any place on the table you choose and have told it to be.

I have the offset to 0 0 0 XY&Z I double click on the yellow flasher and say it's okay but it keeps coming back. Smnall problem, My part is in the middle of the table as far as Mach is concerned when I show the job it show the part as usual but when I flip to the other view I see the table and the job is nearly in the middle of the table not at 0?

Where is the zero point of your code in relation to the part?

0-0 on the machine is left corner ob boy front rear......... m*L* Been there before My table is 25" wide and the gantry is 25" the Y axis is 39 inches long I home at the front corner x-Y on the left side of my machine. My extream X is 25 and Y is 39 I hope this is clear........I found front and side make no sense I hope I gave you enough info.
-
What I am meaning is where is the X Y zero in your code in relation to the actual cutting in the part.

I had to reinstall mach so did that set up my table 25 x 39 etc. Homing and Limits I set home min X -25 and home y min -39 and Z was at 3. I set up x & Y for zero at - numbers. those are the only setting I have done so far.
-
X and Y min and Z Max should be zero and X and Y Max and Z min should be the amount of travel you have. The Z min being a negative number.

That did it. I also found why every time I open Mach setting changed I did not know you can save your setting??? Anyway That did it thank you.
