Hi Everyone,
I am using a 4 axs hobby cnc pro controller, in motor in put i have set all my directinns and step# in ports and pins. motores biplor 305oz, i have nothing set in motor out put. i can her my motors are ruining and the DRO'S ARE SHOWING THE MOVEMINTS but no motors are moving.i am att-my inputs

Thanks for your quick replay. where do i find that? did you see my attach. if something is not working right in the printer port cable will the DRO'S Still show they are moving?

Yes if you have the wrong port address, the wrong pins set up, a faulty parallel Port cable etc the DRO's will move but nothing will happen at your motors.
Motor tuning is where you set the steps per unit, Velocity and acceleration.

Everything is set to port 1 i am going to try using the comp it was working on be for and see what happens. i just copped all the info from my old comp to a new one

How do i find what a comp-port number is set to this was being set up a different comp maybe its set to a different port?

If both computers were on board ports then it is likely they will be the same. To check however go to Control Panel in Windows then System, then Hardware and finally Device manager. When that opens go down to Ports and then expand and double click on the LPT port. Look on the resources tab and you should see the address there, it is the first 4 digits you want.
