Can any one tell me how the pulley selection works ? i dont under stand it how do i set it up ? if im useing a VDF to run my spindel do i just use pulley one and set it fo rmy min and max speed or do i need to do it in steps and work my way up to 2500 by the time i get to 15 ? Im asking because i cant get a cnc4pc c6 card to work ?

Just ignore it if you have a VFD unless you have the index pulse on the motor and the spindle is not connected 1:1 with the motor. It is meant for people who have stepped pulleys or different gear ratios between motor and spindle.

mmm I'm a bit lost now then as my motor to spindle is 16t to 18t on so should i leave it like you say as there is not going to be that much of a speed difference

Where do you have your index pulse? motor or spindle?

im sorry i dont know what a index pulse is should i is that some thing to do with rpm counting

Yes its just a sensor that you have so you know what the spindle speed is. Its not needed on a mill, its just handy, so if you dont have one dont panic ;D
Never set up a VFD with Mach so not sure about the tuning procedure I am afraid but pulleys shouldnt really come into it.
