Title: Turn process won't accept profile
Post by: kdoney on September 25, 2009, 08:39:25 PM
I can't get lazycam's turn process to accept a profile. I must be misunderstanding the basics. Can you get me started?

kdoney,
You should only draw the upper part of the profile in the dxf. Take a look at the manual, Tutorial #5 which covers lathe turning. I also have a few additional posts in the Members Docs which cover the lathe and suggest you take a look at them also.

My bad, as I deleted the other ones on the lathe in the members doc's, when i wrote the LazyCam Manual tutorial#5.
I would suggest you take a look at Appendix "B" in the LazyTurn Manual as that covers practical info on Cad drawings and common mistakes.
