Anyone ever use or try non-vertor type of imports into LazyCam ( Mill ).
What was your experience? Can you do something worthwhile with it or is it
just experimental and that part of LC was never developed other than "experimental".

Hi Rich,

I'm trying to open the Lazycam manual but it tells me there is a file error. Manual is empty.

Can u help.

I'm considering buying the Mach3 Liscence with Cambam?

Is Lazycam now fully functional. What does it Cost for Lazycam ?, I see no reference to it's price

Thanks

George

George,
Let me check out the download. What version of Adobe reader are you using?
Can you open the attached?

The attached PDF was extracted from the manual and should put Lazycam into perspective.
Note the comments by the author in the attachement.

I won't compare Cam Bam to LazyCam / LazyTurn or any other product since i don't think it is appropriate for me to do so.

..................Is Lazycam now fully functional.......
Yes, it is functional for the Mill and Lathe Modules. Can't speak for the Foam and Image file modules to any degree.

Lazycam can be very quick any easy to use even if you have a high end program.
In fact , Rev 1 of the manual will contain a listing of every known bug or non functional item of LazyCam that i am
aware of , or , was been told about. Work arounds are provided in the manual. Ask any software vendor out there to state that kind of information in one place.

Note that the manual is written assuming you have a license.

If you want to know more, just ask.

Most strange Rich,

When I download the manual, Adobe flags up an error saying the doc is corrupt.

I installed the latest Adobe 9.1 and still the same result.

Your extract from the manual opened nicely.

?????

Just downloaded it  using ..3.. different computers and Adobe reader opened it on each of them.
The document is protected but not corrupted. You can download it, read it or print it.

Hi All,

LazyCam Manual REV 1 was posted in the Members Docs.

It has a known BUGS listing at the end along with two new tutorial's # 6 & #7.
You can be the judge as to how important each Bug is and we'll leave it up to Brian to fix them.  >:D

There will not be any more updates in the near future. So this is a print!  ;)

Rich,

Thanks so much for the manual.  It has unraveled many of the LC mysteries and is very helpful.
