Title: Going with Machmotion
Post by: robertmonroe on July 13, 2009, 09:45:14 PM
I decided to buy from Machmotion since I need support and also Vital Systems recommends them, Machmotion, since they are experienced with the controller.

It's the  dspMC/IP all decked out.

I should have the new controller in a few days.

Hi Robert,
You sure got it up and running in short order.
The directions in the manual should get you going in axis works.
I used axis works when setting up the mill but don't have any video.
I will be using it again when setting up my lathe in the upcoming weeks/months as I already have all of the electronics installed in a box, I just need the time to get the servos installed. I would be willing to do a video then.

Let me know if I can be of more help and I could always help over the phone if needed.

Mike

P.S. Doesn't Machmotion have a video or other support feature.

Mike,

That big ol Shinx is is working real good but I don't think the motors are tuned.

I would like to see any AxisWorks video ASAP.  Andy at Machmotion told me he was going to do a video of AxisWorks.

Thanks

Robert
