I have been using Mach2 in conjunction with Windows XP and previously 2000 and I am having problems with the system going into emergency stop mode at random intervals. I then have to edit the G code to start where it failed again. I have therefore just downloaded Mach3, having been told it is more stable. However, this has brought up two new problems.
Firstly it doesn't recognise G43 and secondly, despite having installed it properly including the little routine to manually install the driver, I can't get it to drive the machine at all.
Has anybody else had this problem and if so what course of action could you recommend.
Thanks in anticipation.

Sounds like you need to have a debounce value.. There is noise in your system and that is triggering your Estop :( Under State or Logic there is a place to put a debounce value. Try about 2000 or 1500

Thanks Brian.
That was quick :). The debounce setting was on 100, which was what the Q and A section suggested. I will try some simulations on 2000 and see if the problem still happens.
