Title: Mach3 Installation Woes in Windows XP
Post by: drbarger on May 03, 2009, 06:56:16 PM
I just downloaded and installed Mach3 on a Windows XP platform and I am having trouble getting my motors on my Probotix mill to work correctly.  I set up the motors according to the video tutorial.
x = Pin 2 and 3
y= Pin 4 and 5
z= Pin 6 and 7
a= Pin 8 and 9

The Y and Z axes work perfectly, the x axis just sits there.

In the diagnostic tab pins 5-9 are lit up.

How do I get pins 2 and 3 activiated?  Is that my problem?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Attach an XML for someone to take a look at.

Maybe pin 2 and 3 are inverted and that way, no pulse are going to the input of your driver
