Mach4 General Discussion / Re: Subrutine file not found
« on: August 13, 2018, 08:20:54 AM »
It is all working on my side.  The only thing that was wrong was your G04 P1; it says it is out of range.  P1 would be 1 millisecond.  I have found that it needs a decimal point to read in seconds.  Example P250 is 250 milliseconds, P2.5 is 2.5 seconds.

You are putting the O1234 program in the subroutines folder?

You can start a help ticket with them.  Under the support tab.

Steppers on this lathe.
Cutting feedrate is well below rapid traverse of the motor as well.

This issue still occurs when I'm using G76 as well.

I also posted this to the HiCON Third Party Software Threads.

HiCON Motion Controller / G32 funny feedrate issue
« on: August 06, 2018, 03:12:10 PM »
We are having an issue with G32 on one of our lathes here at the shop.  Using the HiCON Integra and an encoder on the spindle.
Using G32 it is leaving the last couple of threads longer than the first several, it is like the TPI has been adjusted at the end of the threading cycle.
When I was thinking about that, I set the lathe to G61 (Exact Stop) thinking that the feedrate may be adjusting for the next move.  G61 with a look ahead of 1 line didn't fix the issue.  But I did watch the feedrate, about 3/16 from the end of the threading I noticed it jumps from 18 to 22.

This also occurs when using G76.

We have 1 other lathe that we run G32 on with absolutely no issues, also using the HiCON Integra with an encoder on the spindle.
Has anyone else had similar issues or could this be a motion controller issue?

Firmware 3.78
Plugin was new as of 6/28/18

No worries,
It should have popped up with the G83 search, but didn't.  I kind of knew what I was looking for though and was able to find it pretty quickly.
Glad you got it figured out!

There has been a post about this very issue before.

Mach4 only requires G83 on the first line of the canned cycle and it probably requires a Q since that is the peck depth variable.

Mach4 General Discussion / Re: work zero in mach 4

Yeah, the router screen for some reason doesn't have a diagnostics tab.   I did notice you are using the UC100 motion controller.   I don't use those so, like Stuart (I think)  mentioned earlier in this thread, you may have to go into the pin config and reverse the pin high/low from the plugin.

Also, I just noticed that Artsoft put a video on YouTube about work offsets, maybe Bryanna saw this thread lol.

I have gmail and can't open that.  Can you just attach a .jpg?
