George,
 Have you looked into the Smooth Stepper ?
It will produce a MUCH faster and cleaner pulse stream.
I have one but have not used it yet but hear nothing but good news about them.

Good info RICH.
  During the capture, nothing changes. That pic is average of what it does continuously.
Moving the mouse makes no difference here...in sim anyway.
I did notice on the 2nd lathe I built that if the screen has gone to sleep while Mach is running and you move the mouse, It will go nuts but only during a rapid...I think.
It's intermittent.

Here is a capture of my other PC.
Mouse doesn't affect it either.

I gotcha Dave, thanks.
I also see that the "Jackson" on the head would be upside down if it were a LH neck on a RH body.
I notice that on most all electrics I've seen that have in-line machine heads, the low E is shortest from the post to the nut and the hi E is the longest.
Any ill effects of reversing this arrangement ?

Of course it's no issue with the 2 x 3 machine head arrangement on some electrics and most acoustics.
Just wondering.... and you'd probably know.
