The X position is the user coordinates only.  It will not toggle between machine, user, and distance to go like X Multi Pos will.

Pan the tool path with both mouse buttons.

Other hints:
Left double click orients the path in the top down view.
Right double click orients the path in the ISO view.

Alt-Enter executes the MDI from the keyboard.  Since it is multi-line, alt-UP and alt-down cycle through the previous commands.

Keyboad control is via a plugin that has not been released.  Just mouse around for a bit until we release the keyboard stuff.

Hmm...  Are you able to run the Galil with the Terminal.  Meaning do you get encoder counts in the watch window?

You do not have to setup the Mach encoders for the Galil, so that isn't it.  They should be fed to Mach by the plugin.

By balance, you mean not drift?  If so, you can use the OF command on the Galil to correct.  And I believe there is a pot on the amp that can adjust that to.  And the point become moot once the servos are energized and the Galil is holding them in position.

Galil / Re: Limit switch problem

BTW, there is/was a pretty good explanation of this in a thread on this forum somewhere.  Finding it is the problem.

Galil / Re: Limit switch problem

It is not you that is confused!  What you said is correct.  You can test this in the Galil terminal and using the watch window.  If LSCOM is positive, the data record will show one way with a NC switch as opposed to when LSCOM is negative.  I can't remember which way it goes at the moment, so you will just have to test and see.

Look at the limit in the watch window when you have it wired LSCOM to +12v and hook a NC switch up to it.  If limit switch is 1, then CN needs to be configure accordingly.  CN is configured with the limits active low check box in the plugin.  Because when the switch is depressed, the limit switch value in the watch window should go to 0.  And vice verse.  Once this is set so the Galil sees what you want, then you may have to reverse the polarity of the signal for that limit switch in Ports and Pins.  Negate is what it is called, I believe.  At some point, you will get both Mach and the Galil to agree on the switch configuration.

That is the manual for your drives.  It looks like you may need to wire the limits in parallel with the Galil.  :(
