Sounds like its not running the firmware, when the thing boots, the RED leds shoudl turn off. (Perhaps they switched to green leds..). Make sure its set to autoboot after 10 seconds..

Hi:

Your computer is incorrectly indicating its IP to the program.
Run Gloader, find the Grex and set its address to 68.59.179.105 ,
and the netmask to 255.255.255.0 , then hit set IP.

 Then hit the Launch..any luck?

General Mach Discussion / Re: serial connection
« on: April 07, 2006, 03:43:15 PM »
Hi:

GetFifoEntry is the proper call. You cannot use SendSerial when using event driven serial support. Event driven means the thread is automatyically storing results. The CR is used as an end of line character, but you can also type in a deciaml number of a keycode to use as a delimiter. Soon a time based delimiter will also be available..

Thanks

Hi:

In theory, quite possibel using the "Event driven serial" mode. Its call GetFiFoEntry returns the last recieved line. A macro pump could look at this line and determine if a Gcode command has come in, if it has, execute it, wait till done, and send the responce. You may find quite learnign curve on doign this though.. But it is possibel in theory..

Hi:

Might be some script or another. I cant think of why the lockup only on thaty profile, but if it locks on more than one computer, send me the profile, Ill see if it locks here.. :), if it locks for me, I can usually fix it..

Hi Bob:

Im curious, does it lock up if you load Mach3Turn? It sounds like one of the settings is screwing somethign up, it may take createing a fresh profile to find it..

Hi:

No..Apic wont help here. This is a process lockup, Hard to say why, but something on that system doesnt like Mach at all.
I suspect it woudl take a reload of Windows to see whats going on. I think Id start by removeing it all and trying again. You say you had
to load the driver manually. Why, what error did you get, or was there no error, just no driver?

Hi:

This is almost certainly a process resetting the main system clock timer. Optimising shoudl find and remove it. This is the same effect that Quicktime will cause. If it IS this, then the system clock will slow down , double click the clock, does the second hand move very slow??
