thanks for taking time to look at this brett.

mach3 ver r2.0.035
lcam ver 2.00.032
i am licensed also,as far as posting a dxf,i have tried a simple 1 chain--- 2" circle with no pocket,
up to a 674 chain v carving, all dxf post code well cut well.when i load a dxf in lcam the origin
is usualy off the map thats ok,push the origin to min button origin jumps to the bottom left
corner everything ok.double klick origin to move to center local, windows error message,
turn off error message lcam closes.
i would have gotten back to you earlier but i had to go to work.

No problem Bill. Post the dxf file you are having problems with so we can download it and play with it. I want to see if I get the same message and how to avoid it.

Hi, Bill, Brett

This problem has existed for some time, It doesn't bother some computers, It has been an on-again, off-again problem for me.

There was a way in earlier ver to set it in the right # enter origin manually, don't now where it went, ill look back in ver's.

More Info, Chip

i apreciate you two for looking at this.
it is not going to kill me to work with it like is.
just not to fond of getting a magical error screen.
brett i noticed you have lcam ver .037,i still have .032
going to download the latest mach3 right now, maybe get lucky.
it is a little funny that i have three totaly different computers, and still
get the same error on all of them.i know you have not a error warning
in a while so i am going to post one for you.

thanks bill

Hey Bill,
You might want to try and download just lazy cam if the newest version isn't with Mach.

The problem is that the Graphics card in the computer :( I think we may need to stop all updates to the screen...

I will tell Art about it and we will see what he and I can come up with

Thanks for the info

Hmmm from what Chip found it looks like Lcam is reading a pointer that is no good .. I can;t get that to happen here!

Hi, Brian

In earlier versions there was a Drawing Origin, bottom right side, where you could enter new values for origin, could that be put back in.

From time to time in earlier versions I could move the origin around with the mouse, same computer, built in video and second PCI card.

I've try ed updating driver, No-Joy

Thanks Chip
