Title: well tuned motors with MPG - BUT
Post by: tntcarvings on December 10, 2019, 11:10:28 AM
My motors are tuned and calibrated awesome and run smooth when using the key board -
but when I run a gcode file everything sounds bad and struggling.
it seems to run the file ok fro as long as I let it run.
tweaked here and there but end up at the same tuned numbers
am I missing something in the settings or a bad card when running a file?

Hi,
are you using a parallel port? It rather sounds like the PC is not providing a clean and consistent pulse stream which can
in turn be due to Machs parallel port starving of CPU time which is due to Windows doing other things....including running
Machs GUI.

If you are using a parallel port make sure every program and service not ABSOLUTELY required is shut down. Look in Windows
Start menu and disable everything not required.

Hi,
that company peddles pirate Mach3 licenses, you wont get any help here unless you have bought a genuine license.
