What make is your VFD? if its a HaunYang then you might try resetting to factory settings  and reset everything.

So after doing some research you probably have the 6040 with a usb motion control card. If this correct then you first need to install the plugin (RNRMotion.dll) for mach3.I may have my xml from my old setup if you want it to see if you can get something going. that is where I would start.

 Hello everyone,

   I am running  licensed mach3 4.043.062 on a win7 machine and I have a uc400eth motion controller.
problem Im having is the plugin will not enable. If I enable it and restart mach3 it goes back to disabled.
Any ideas on this issue? Thanks.

First question is in mach are the limits set to active high or low?

Are your switches NO( normally open
Or NC( normally closed?

I have the same setup as you with uc100 and g540,but I use manual limit switches with no issues.

Thanks for the relies. I think Gerry Guessed it. I changed the native units from mm to inch and it seems ok now. I must have missed that setting. ::)

General Mach Discussion / Axis dros off after loading Gcode
« on: December 22, 2016, 08:57:24 AM »
Hi here is what is going on. I had to reinstall my OS(XP). I reinstalled Mach3 version 3.043.062. Setup everything. Loaded a gcode file and I noticed my z axis Dro was off. I verified this by measuring the movement and comparing it to the dro reading. I moved ~ 1 inch(measured) and the dro reading was .045. I checked the settings in mortor tuning and everything was correct. I closed the file and restarted Mach3. I retested and measured and it was spot on. I reloaded the Gcode file and it was off my a mile. anyone have any idea what could cause this?

Thanks
Charlie
