Hi,
I'm been playing with the screen and now just as I get everything the way I like it, the keyboard won't jog anymore, it will still jog with the touchscreen , but not with the keyboard.
Just to be sure I opened the editor and the arror keys move the tap around, so its not the keyboard, when checking the hot keys they are all set aswell....
Any ideas
Thanks

Which version do you have? Maybe you turned off jog button?
Cheers

No I checked that , I using Ver 2.2 and working with the simple 3 axis screen, also when I load a different screen the keyboard buttons work.
-
You might have turned of the Jog button, or have it in another mode, such as MPG. Hit your tab key, this brings up the MPG pendant. Check to see if you are in cont. jog mode there. Tab will close the MPG screen as well.

No that ain't it either, it will jog on the screen but not with the keyboard, if it is set to mpg it won't jog on the the screen, I also tried restting the hotkeys even though it already shwed the right numbers, I will try to post the screen set You can give it a try and see if You can get it to work.

The one thing I like to change , on the set up page remove the stop button in the jog section and substitude for the shift button, so I be able to toggle between fast and slow jogging, but what is the oem code for the shift button?
-
Not sure if this is your problem but when I made myself a screen set for my 12" touch screen I had
to cheat the system to get jogging working.
I did not want a button to turn jog on/off taking up precious screen real estate.
I never want to not be able to keyboard jog.
It's a tight squeeze on 12" when you want large buttons for fat fingers. ;D
However I soon found that unless you have a jog on/off button on any particular page
then the keyboard jog won't work while using that page.
So what I did was make a jog on/off button that was 1 pixel by 1 pixel and hide it at
the very top left of screen and set it to "displays on all screens"
Now I can keyboard jog on any page but not have a useless button hogging screen space.

I deleted the jog button right of the bat, except on the diagnostics page , and it was jogging fine, I will try that , but what started it that I wanted a toggle for fast and slow jog like the shift key but on the screen, than I found the slowjog increase and decrease buttons and added them to the set up screen, thats when it stopped jogging with the keyboard, so I think its something else, especially since the jog on button never worked on the screen anyways
Turns out You right You have to have a jog button on the page for the keyboard to work.
That;s it .... got everything but the oem code for the shift key....anybody know?
Thanks

Yes I too have lost my ability to use my keyboard for jogging, in fact I can’t switch between step and continues. I can set the number for the incremental moves, but when I try to select it the light does not light up. It worked fine when I calibrated the machine, but since then it stopped working. The only thing I can think that I changed since then was I added the pins for spindle and coolant start and stop. I went into the configure screen and turned them off but it didn’t change anything. Any ideas, I have been watching this post to help find the answer to my problem as well.

In one of the tutorials Art mentions that jogging is switched off on some of the screens so that you do not accidently jog the machine out of position once it is set up. This is because ( I think) jogging only affects one set of co-ordinates, and if you have set other co-ords, or are not running in machine co-ords, the two sets will get out of reference with each other.
On my Turn program, jogging works only on the "Manual" page as you are setting your work up. Once you move page, say to input code directly to the machine via the key board, or to enter and run a program, jog will not work.
On my Mill program, as far as I can remember, jogging only works on screen 1
