The Estop HAS to be assigned to an input pin for liability reasons. It is up to you to use it or not but it has to be active or mach3 won't run
A commercial machine would NEVER bypass the Estop function, the liablility would kill you if something happened to an operator.
Also commercial machines are all about error messages, Safety First (;-)
