There are ways to make Mach3 send me moves over RS232 but you need to have a contouring buffer in the drive and blah blah blah... I did it with Smart motors but I can tell you that it is no fun and you need to be a C programmer to get it working ;(

Could you please tell a bit more about what it is that you are trying to do???

A bit of code so we can see what you are up to would be a great help.

thanks

Lieth,
The plugin is old and needs an update.. I have hardware on the way to test and update the code. I should have the rest of the parts next week. At this time please use your old software and I will post as soon as I have the galil code updated.

You need to tell me where in the heck did all the Galil users come from !

Thanks
Brian

That could be done in Lcam if you think you need to have it... it is simple to output points X dist appart on a path

Do you have your Old Camsoft setup files???  It would be nice if you could get it back up and working with the software that you had in the past... You could check the CBK file and use that to see what you were sending to the machine. Then you can go back and set the commands back to what you had when it was working :) Also if you post the file here there are a few of us here that should be able to help a bit with the Galil code.

thanks

I have ordered all the parts to get my Galil back up and running... After I have it back up and running I need to fix a few of the bugs and I would like to make a place where the user can put in the threading code that they would like to run in the Galil.... This will make it so you the users can help me get it working the way it should :)

So I hope I can get the time to make the code in the next 3 months!!!! I don't see getting the code done in the next month :(

Thanks
Brian

Brains Development / Re: Connecting outputs to Mach 3???

Are you looking to make a button on the screen that will make the spindle speed go up and down??? IF you are looking to do that I think you should have a look at the Brains video's online... this is the newest way that we have to make outputs work :)

Thanks
Brian
