To get it to stop with the state of a pin can be done by doing the following:
Under Config/Logic check the "Program Safety Lockout" and set the pin that you would like to start and stop the motion as the external activation #1

The Debounce is set under Config/State :)

Hope that helps
Brian

Looking into it :)

M7 and M8 are going to be the flood and mist outputs. you have to set them up with an output pin and set that pin to the macro under the spindle settings in mach3 (under the ports and pins) and it is some place off the config menu in Mach2.

You would like to turn on outputs? If that is the case there is a section in the mach2 manual showing you how to do this. Search the PDF for "output" and you should find it. if you have any trouble we are here!

Do you have any info on the pinout of your drives? I am thinking that you are not running the wave drives.... I am sorry I have never seen the MaxNC drives or worked with them... But I will do my best!

IF you copy the shortcut on the desktop and change the PMach3Mill the to P"whatever" you can set up two icons on the screen. It is under the properties of the icon...

I would just set it up for CNC and get working with it like that.. But that is up to you :)
IF you set up with a Grex you will not need any other hardware just the Grex and the encoders! This may be the best way for you to get it running as it will also run your machine in the end. There is a delay but that is going to be down to about 1/30 sec (in the next firmware rev).. IF that is a problem ( and it shouldn't be) you are working to fast  ;D

The Gcode output is fixed so it will not drill the first hole two times in the first drill cycle.
The other thing that I added is rotoation :) you can rotate the part X amount of degrees and it will re calculate the stock size that you need to get the part :)

I have found a way but it is using the Macro pump  as well as a few LED's

Did you check Max NC mode under the ports and pins?
