Set the debounce in mach3 up to like 2000 and try it.... if if that helps it's most likely a noise problem.... go through and make sure all connections are tight.... especially grounds.  just some ideas to try

Hey Daz,
tested your plugin (just for a few minutes) on XPSP3 and Darwin.... everything seems to work good.....  and thanks for all the great information you put on here.

General Mach Discussion / Re: Please help, Chinese eBay purchase!!
« on: October 26, 2015, 08:55:55 AM »
Hi
Yes I bought a 3 axis 3040T-DQ CNC router from eBay,!

The instructions are next to useless and certainly not in anything resembling English.
I have assembled it, I think and loaded Mach 3 from the Internet as the disc supplied would not open. My issue is trying to set up home stops, I also a component "left over" it is a round disc like object with a single Jack  plug and crock clip, I can find no reference anywhere in the instructions as to what it is, I assume it could be a home stop or similar.
Any help would be brilliant particularly if there is a user in the UK that I could phone for advice, email address is: Rush.den@hotmail.co.uk

Thanks in advance

Paul

Hey Paul,
How many cables/wires connect from the machine to the control box..... if theres only 3 or 4  4pin plugs my guess would be there are no home/limit switches so you would have to set mach3 to home in place or add the switches to the machine. This is just a guess though. might be helpful to put up a picture or two of the machine.

using a live linux cd like gparted works great for cloning drives...... it will make an exact duplicate.... one downside is you have to copy to the same size drive or bigger. it will run from the cd and nothing gets installed on the drive. it copys raw data so it doesn't matter what operating system you are copying.

Why not use dwell in your gcode... "G04 P5" after the s command..... waits 5 seconds before it starts cutting

yeah that would have been an upgrade.... I wonder if it would change if you did a clean install. if I wipe my drive and reinstall XPsp3 it will still generate the same pcid. but it's the same OS..... guess I'm not sure how all that works.

Hey Alex,
Any chance there will ever be a xhc  whbo4 pendant plugin for mach4? I have a pendant and it works great with mach3.... but I'm switching to mach4 now and would to still like to be able to use my pendant.
