Mach use to have it and may still, not sure. Most all industrial machines I work on do. It's screw mapping. This is for the very reason Ger21 mentioned. Most screws, even the high end high precision ground ones have slight variations along the length of the screw. If Mach still has screw mapping, I have no idea how well it works.

If you have a DXF of the paths you want to mill, it should work. I'll let some of the Lazycam usesrs comment on this though. I know very little about Lazycam.

Just jog to the point you want 0 to be. You can use a sheet of paper between the cutter and work so you don't leave a mark. jog down slowly as you slide the papre and as soon as the papaer quits slideing, stop jogging. Go to the z button beside the Z DRO on the program run page and click it to 0 your DRO.
